LRVs scale is from 0-100, with 0 being absolute black and, 100 being pure white. To sum it up, it’s a measurement that shows the percentage of light reflected from a surface. *For those of you wondering what in the world is LRV and why does it matter. If you have to give Mindful a label I’d say it is a light to mid-tone gray. With an LRV of 48, it is not one of the lightest gray paint colors from Sherwin Williams, however, it’s not the darkest either. Let’s talk about SW Mindful grays color stats. It never shows any crazy undertones, which is what we all want in a gray paint color. Secondly, it is pretty dang neutral in terms of gray paint colors.
